Vertical Systems has integrated this system using EMC Centera. This device (known as a fiber SAN) has a 30 Terrabyte capacity. Our redundant design uses a real-time fiber Metro-Area network via AT&T.
This network enables us to keep a live copy of the data offsite in our office. In case of emergency, clients can access their data using existing facilites at their office. No need to panic! VSI has enabled it's clients the ability to integrate business continuity into their existing facility.
In conjunction with this we have developed the only paperless coding system. This system allows coders to recieve their documents from hospitals electronically and process them without printing any paper.
By using these technologies together, VSI has enabled it's clients to operate it's business and have an alternate path to it's patients and data in case of emergency.
